OFF 42 DRIVING TOUR

Off 42 Driving Tour - To learn more about Brethren and Mennonite sites of historic interest along Route 42, stop by the CrossRoads Heritage Center to pick up a brochure with photos, directions and a sketch map to orient your travel. The cost is $5.

The CrossRoads Heritage Center is located behind the new Harrisonburg High School, off Garbers Church Road.

You may also call the Center (540) 438-1275 to order the brochure by mail. Send $6 to cover postage and handling to CrossRoads, P.O. Box 1563, Harrisonburg, VA 22803.

Welcome Center

The recommended time to drive the Off 42 Driving Tour
and visit some of the more important sites is 2 - 4 hours.
Visitors may wish to allow extra time to visit the Dayton Farmer's Market and Silver Lake Mill,
if taking the tour when they are open.
